Hey Folks:

I’m back from a whirl wind trip. Show East, New Jersey NATO and Northern California NATO.

I’m taking a few days off, but I wanted to talk to you about my travels.

First Orlando Florida where Show East is held. For the first time since I’ve been with Lionsgate (that’s 8 short years folks.) we hosted a dinner and a screening. It became the talk of the convention. Not because of the good food and open bar, but because of the exclusive 3-D footage we showcased for MY BLOODY VALENTINE (opens January 16, 2009)!!! It was EYE POPPING to say the least and people LOVED IT. Even those who aren’t into Horror Movies talked about it. That led into our Screening of TRANSPORTER 3 (Opens November 26, 2008) and people had a blast.

Then I was off to New Jersey where I had the opportunity to showcase the same footage in 3D!! There was actually a walk out and I write that in a Good Way. He couldn’t take the bloody goodness of 3D!!! I truly believe we have something special here with MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D. It’s going to be a Renaissance of the classic slasher film of the 80’s. It’s going to have people yelling at the screen and take your audience on a roller coaster ride of thrills with some good gore thrown right at ya!!

Speaking of Horror, did you know that the SAW franchise is the highest grossing horror franchise in the World?? How Amazing is that?! Thank you for your help and support with your promotions, blood drives and SAW marathons. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Back to my travels, I ended up in San Francisco for Northern California NATO. Unfortunately I couldn’t show the crowd any 3D footage but I did my best to convey what audiences can expect.

I want to take a bit of time to Thank Everyone who came up to me to say Hi. One of my favorite things about traveling is having the opportunity to hang with you fine folk. I hope you have as much fun at my presentations as I have fun giving them. I swear my biggest fear when I do these things is that people will fall asleep. I do my best to not let that happen.

So for the rest of the year we have TRANSPORTER 3 opening on November 26, PUNISHER: WAR ZONE opening December 5 and our biggest release in the company’s history, THE SPRIT on December 25. An Exciting slate of films to round out the year.

Also note something new to the LGEXR site is the addition of showcasing Promo Materials. You can now see the items we’ll have available for each title. A simple e-mail includes your Technicolor Account number and as long as I have items I’ll do my best to ensure you have prizes to give away.

Well, that’s all for now folks. Thanks for reading. Please continue to come to LGEXR.com for all of your Lionsgate info.

Howdy Folks:

Well, Labor Day is upon us and with that pretty much marks the end of summer. I’d say for the most part it was a fun summer to go to the movies. I thought there were more hits than misses and only a few movies made me angry because they were so bad.

Things here are Lionsgate were relatively quite over the summer. All that is about to change! Starting this Friday with DISASTER MOVIE we will be releasing a movie a week for 4 straight weeks! Here is the breakdown:

August 29 – Disaster Movie
September 5 – Bangkok Dangerous
September 12 – Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys
September 19 – My Best Friend’s Girl

Insane right? Here is something even more crazy; we currently have 10 different trailers out in the field! There was a time when Lionsgate didn’t even have 10 movies to open in a year!! Here is the run down of what we have in the market place right now:

Disaster Movie (OK so the movie opens this week and the trailer will come down but for now it’s still playing.)
Bangkok Dangerous
Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys
My Best Friends Girl
Religulous
W.
SAW V
Transporter 3
Punisher: War Zone
The Spirit

So while we may not have released many movies this past summer, we here in Exhibitor Relations have been busy. Hopefully you have at least some of our posters up in your fine lobby. I know trailers have been playing and I want to say Thanks for playing them.

As always if you ever need or want more materials you can contact me directly. The best way is to email me at Dpanos@lionsgate.com. Or you can call me at 310-255-4038.

Hopefully you’ve been finding the LGEXR site to be helpful. We’ve been trying to keep the look fresh and the materials content as up to date as possible.

I look forward to your support this fall and well into the Holiday Season. As always, Thanks for Reading and keep clicking back to LGEXR.com for the latest info here at Lionsgate.

Greetings From Lake Geneva Wisconsin:

I’m here attending the Lake Geneva NATO Convention. This is my 1st Stop on a 3 week Road Trip that brings me to Chicago, New York and my home town of Boston.

On this tour I have the great opportunity to get up in front of some of you fine folk and show off upcoming Lionsgate Product. I’ve been doing this for a while and I have to tell you this is one of the strongest product reels I’ve showcased. I’m showing the Brand New Teaser Trailer for THE SPIRIT which made it’s debut with IRON MAN. It’s a great teaser trailer that is fortified with a striking teaser poster for your lobby. Thanks to all who were able to place the trailer up with IRON MAN. Reaction has been great. Also on the Reel is the Brand New Teaser Trailer for THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE. What’s cool about this is I get to show this trailer before it makes its way into theatres! Which by the ways will be with THE INCREDIBLE HULK. Keeping with an Action motif THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE trailer is followed by the Nicholas Cage Action Thriller, BANGKOK DANGEROUS. That trailer is followed up with a very Red Band trailer for MY BEST FRIENDS GIRL. The spot showcases some very funny/crude moments in the movie. Trust me there are still plenty of hysterical “choice” scenes in the movie. Meaning, it’s not all in the trailer as sometimes happens. The reel wraps up with a 10 minute peek at the Bill Maher DocuComedy, RELIGULOUS. Love him or hate him, this spot always gets a reaction!.

If I’m lucky there is some semblance of a Trade Show that I always participate in. This affords me the wonderful opportunity to meet some of you and chat about our favorite subject: The Movies! I’ve met some fun people on my travels. In meeting you I realize the hard work and dedication you have in running your theatre(s). I’m amazed by the fact that in the midst of making sure your theatre runs smoothly you have time and are willing to promote our movies. I can’t/We can’t thank you enough for all of your support! Let me tell you, as grueling as traveling can be, getting up in front of you to talk about Lionsgate movies is one of my favorite aspects of my job. Not only do I consider it a privledge to do so. I find it fun. I love to watch your reaction to a trailer. I love to get to talk to you about our product and movies in general. I hope to get to meet some of you on the tour. So if you are going to attend the New York NATO or the New England TONE meetings, make sure to say HI.

I’m going to try to write some more from the road. I actually have a funny Lionsgate story that happened at Los Angeles International Airport that I will save for my next posting.

As always, thanks for reading and clicking on to LGEXR.com.

March 20, 2008

Hey Folks:

Well we are on the eve of the release of yet another Tyler Perry movie– TYLER PERRY’S MEET THE BROWNS. If you’ve read this blog before you already know I believe Tyler Perry is the hardest working man in Show Business today! I don’t know how he does it. He writes and directs at least 2 movies a year, produces a popular sit–com, is working on an animated series, performs in his plays and my personal favorite; he has a cameo in the upcoming Star Trek movie! And I probably forgot something.

Demetri and Jason Biggs, Demetri and Julie BenzNext up is FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. Many of you have already received our Blast Fax/E-Mail. There seems to be confusion amongst some of you regarding a TES number and not knowing what that is. It is your Technicolor Account Number. My bad on that, I should have just had the sheet say that instead. I know the word is getting out on FORBIDDEN KINGDOM because I’ve already gotten a lot of phone calls and emails looking for materials. Thanks to those who have already contacted me. You’ll get materials shortly.

Keep checking back on LGXER.com on a regular basis. I promise to update you more with fun stuff like; photos of me hanging with Jason Biggs (MY BEST FRIENDS GIRL)and Julie Benz (RAMBO, PUNISHER: WAR ZONE). Both were gracious to attend our ShoWest Cocktail reception at Bally’s. I can not say enough kind things about either one of them. In a day where “the rags” are reporting on the next celebrity melt down, I’m happy to report that you would be hard pressed to find much kinder, charming, funny and beautiful folks other than Jason Biggs and Julie Benz.

That’s that for now. Thanks for clicking on into LGXER.com.

Talk with you later,
Demetri

February 21, 2008

Hey Folks!

How ‘bout RAMBO! Not a bad way to kick off 2008. After all these years Sylvester Stallone still know how to make a crowd pleaser. Thanks to all who helped bring RAMBO back.

Let me tell you. The rest of the year is going to rock as well. Check out this caliber of stars we have in upcoming movies: Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Nicolas Cage, Tyler Perry, Angela Bassett, Vinnie Jones, Bill Maher, Ray Stevenson, Dominic West, Kate Hudson, Dane Cook, and Jason Biggs. Not bad huh?

Let me tell you about some of the movies these fine folks are in. Jason Statham stars in THE BANK JOB. This movie is based on actual events and critics are already saying it’s one of the Best Caper Films in the past decade. The hardest working man in show business today; Tyler Perry will have not 1 BUT 2 movies coming out this year! First up is TYLER PERRY’S MEET THE BROWN on March 21 then on September 12 we release TYLER PERRY’S THE FAMILY THAT PREYS TOGETHER. I did not miss–spell prey by the ways. It’s a play on words. I do prey that you got it. On April 18 Lionsgate is proud to present the first ever pairing of two legends: Jackie Chan and Jet Li in FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. I’ve seen this movie and it’s Wicked Good!! Some of the highlights: a Jackie Chan Jet Li fight scene that goes on for approximately 15 minutes and an epic Wire–Fu battle that goes on for at least a film reel!! It’s Awesome. And not only does this film have a great Fantasy Adventure element to it, it has heart as well. Then we go into summer with a Clive Barker Horror Movie called MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN. The movie is based on a Clive Barker Story and it stars Vinnie Jones and Bradley Cooper. In it, Vinnie Jones plays a bad ass serial killer who stalks his victims on a subway train. It’s called MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN for a reason folks! It’s got blood and gore mixed in with that Clive Barker weirdness. This is not for the squeamish. And why not follow up a horror movie on a biting commentary documentary movie called RELIGULOUS. This is the brain child of Larry Charles (director of BORAT) and Bill Maher. In it they take on Religion. For those familiar with Bill Maher, when he takes something on, the gloves come off. I’ve actually shown 10 minutes of footage at various presentations and it ends up being one of the most talked about movies of the day! To round off the year we have a Kate Hudson, Dane Cook Romantic Comedy called MY BEST FRIENDS BOYFRIEND, THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE and SAW V. Then in 2009 we have Comic Book/Graphic Novel God, Frank Miller making his Directorial Debut with THE SPIRIT based off the Classic Wil Eisner Comic. I’ve seen some still from this movie and it looks great!

There you have it. A great peek at what’s coming up from Lionsgate. Trust me. I’ll lots more to talk about in the weeks ahead. In the meantime, thanks for reading and thanks for clicking on LGEXR.com

November 30, 2007

Well Boy Howdy!

The end of 2007 is fast upon us. What a year for Lionsgate.

Can you believe from September 1 to October 31 Lionsgate was the #1 Distributor in the marketplace!! With the help of title such as: 3:10 TO YUMA, GOOD LUCK CHUCK, TYLER PERRY’S WHY DID I GET MARRIED and SAW IV Lionsgate will gross approximately 380 Million Dollars. Not bad from the studio that brought you BRATZ! Now I kid and I don’t mean to pick on BRATZ. But admittedly the beginning of the year was not to promising for us here at The Gate. It was a tough start. Believe it or not every studio goes through it. We all have our ups and downs. Luckily we’re currently on our way up again.

Here’s a glimpse into 2008.
January 25 – RAMBO. I actually saw this and I have to say it’s Pretty Pretty Good. C’mon RAMBO is back blowing s@*% up, killing people and saving Burma!! How can that be bad?!?!

February 1 – THE EYE. Have you seen the trailer? How ‘bout the poster? In a word: CREEPY. Nothing creepy about Jessica Alba though. Movie going audiences seem to like her too.

Larry the Cable Guy is back on February 22 and this time he is under WITLESS PROTECTION.

Another movie to look out for is FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. This is a Fantasy Adventure Movie that pairs Jackie Chan and Jet Li! It plays like a cross between Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Chronicles of Narnia minus the talking animals. This is another movie I’ve seen and I can honestly tell you it works as an action movie, fantasy adventure and a coming of age story with some amazing fight sequences. Great Story. Beautiful to look at.

Later in the year, September 12 to be exact Frank Castle is back in PUNISHER: WAR ZONE. This is a brand new tale in the PUNISHER saga. It is neither a sequel or a prequel but a brand new story that adds depth and carnage to the beloved Marvel Anti–Hero.

Not bad huh? I know I’m excited. I hope you are too. Well thanks for reading. Please feel free to post your comments. This will probably be the last post of the 07. Before I sign off, I would like to take the opportunity to Thank You all for your tremendous support of Lionsgate Movies. May you and your have a Happy and Safe Holiday Season.

Thanks for reading,

Demetri

September 13, 2007

Hey Folks,

How are ya?! Justin Timberlake brought Sexy Back (I never knew it left.) and Lionsgate brought The Western BACK! When was the last time a WESTERN was number 1 at the Box Office??? This past weekend that’s when! Movie going audiences bought tickets to get on board the 3:10 TO YUMA. I dedicate this post to a certain theatre manager, who, while I was doing a presentation and stated that Lionsgate would bring The Western back he in front of everybody said out loud mind you: “PFFFFT, have you heard the expression Cold Day in Hell?” Word of advice my friend, don’t interrupt the guy holding the thermostat! And oh yeah. Ha Haaaaa!!!!

Now that I got that off my chest, let me talk about what Lionsgate has coming up. Next week we release GOOD LUCK CHUCK. Now if for some reason you’re reading some other wanna be independent studio blog (which happens to be owned by a large, huge, corporation you may have heard of – 20th Century Fox) this flogger dogged Lionsgate marketing of GOOD LUCK CHUCK. He/She was going on about how our TV spot makes the movie look like a romantic comedy where this guy Chuck (Dane Cook) falls in love with a clutzy girl (Jessica Alba). Now, I have seen the movie. This I can tell you. Dane Cook does in fact play Chuck. Chuck does in fact fall in love with a klutzy girl played by Jessica Alba. Not really a lie. Said flogger then writes it’s all a sham and the genius posts a more detailed plot synopsis on The Fox Atomic Web site!! Thanks guy, you probably just persuaded the two people who read your rantings (I bet they’re family members) to pay money to see OUR MOVIE!!! Good Luck with THE COMEBACKS looks like a weiner I mean winner!

On October 12 we have Tyler Perry’s next movie-TYLER PERRY’S WHY DID I GET MARRIED. I swear this guy does not sleep!! He writes, directs movies, performs one man plays, and produces a hit television show seemingly all at the same time. This movie stars the man himself Tyler Perry along with Janet Jackson. And if it performs anything like his past movies, your theatre and Lionsgate will be happy.

Speaking of October, Halloween is in October. And if its Halloween it must be SAW! SAW IV to be exact. Remember at the end of SEVEN Brad Pitt exclaimed “WHAT’S IN THE BOX?!?“ SAW IV will have you asking, WHAT’S ON THE TAPE?? That’s all I can talk about.

I think that is enough for one day. Thanks for reading!

Demetri

June 18, 2007

Well Boy Howdy it has been a long time since I’ve written one of these.

It hasn’t been because of lack of stuff to talk about.  Trust me, things here at Lionsgate give me plenty to talk about.  We’ve been at a clip.  Releasing movies at an average of one every other week!  Crazy considering we’re in independent film company.

Currently we’re prepping the release of SICKO.  That’s Michael Moore’s next film.  It comes out on June 29.  This time around, Michael Moore pokes his camera around Health Care.  I know his last movie FARENHEIT 911 was a polarizing pictures, but come on, who doesn’t need health care?

We follow up SICKO with BRATZ.  Yup, BRATZ.  They are out of the box this August 3.  Now anybody who has a little sister, daughter, niece within the age range of 8-12 you know BRATZ.  This is the first live action movie based on the popular selling dolls and cartoon.  Did you know that the movie is produced by Avi Arad?  Maybe you’ve heard of some of the movies he’s produced: SPIDERMAN, FANTASTIC FOUR, X-MEN and all of their sequels.  So why BRATZ??  He looks at them as super heroes/role models in a way.  They are group of close friends who are from diverse ethnic back rounds who in the end promote strength in friendship no matter what your background.  Not a bad message to send to kids.  BRATZ trailer will be enclosed with RATATOUILLE ( a great movie by the ways!)

What better to follow up a movie targeted to girls 8-11 than with an all out action movie starring Jason Statham and Jet Li!  WAR opens on August 24.  I had the opportunity to see this movie no too long ago and it works.  Fights, Gun Fights and more fights and throw in a good car chase in case you get bored.  WAR delivers everything you’d expect a movie to deliver starring these two action star dynamos.  Trailer is out and will be enclosed with LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD.

From WAR we switch gears again and deliver a wicked funny comedy that stars Dane Cook and Jessica Alba called GOOD LUCK CHUCK.  I have also seen this movie and I can tell you that they did not put all the funny stuff in the trailer.  Speaking of the trailer.  It has gotten some of the best reaction I have ever seen for a Lionsgate preview.  It’s been playing with KNOCKED UP and audiences are loving it.  Please continue to put it up with movie like LICENSE TO WED and  I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY.

Before I wrap things up I have to talk about what will be one of the best movies of the year: 3:10 TO YUMA.  This is a Western starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.  That’s right, I wrote Western.  Lionsgate is bringing the Western back with the help of Director/Writer James Mangold (Walk The Line).  This movie has it all; drama, action, suspense and great performances.  Trust me.  After this movie comes out just wait and see how many Westerns go into development.  We just printed up the first trailer and its enclosed with 1408.  It will also be enclosed with SICKO.

Well it’s time to wrap this up.  Thanks for reading.  Sorry it’s been a while. I’ll do my best to be more current.

Demetri

Hey Folks!

First I want to say "THANKS!" for all your help in making EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH a success! Couldn't have done it with out you!

Saw III final one sheet posterNow let's get serious about SAW 3. The movie opens in just TWO WEEKS! I'm burning through my promo items (Bracelets, Talking Key Chains, Mini Posters, Buttons and T-shirts) so get your orders in quick!

I know you're already familiar with our wicked cool posters. Well, there is going to be one more. It'll be the final one sheet that will look BLOODY awesome in your poster cases. Much like the movies themselves this poster comes with a twist. Look at the image with this posting. Notice the RED robe???? It's an interesting RED wouldn't you agree??? Sort of a BLOOD RED right??? Let me tell you that Jigsaw himself - Tobin Bell - gave till it hurt and his blood runs through the red ink that is used in the poster!!!!!!! These blood red beauts are going to be available in limited quantities and should show up in your theatres for display this weekend. So, please put them up upon arrival. Take pictures of this bloody bad boy and send them to me at dpanos@lionsgate.com. I'd love to see what it looks like in your lobby!

Hey Folks!

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH is just 2 short weeks away! Here at "The Gate" we're pretty excited!

Just this past week we held the Premiere for the movie and yours truly was invited to go! Now I was pretty excited about this for a couple of reasons: first, it's a Lionsgate movie and it's a privilege to be there and support the film. Second, always great people-watching at a Premiere. Aside from the cast of the movie I saw the likes of Brett Ratner, comedian Kathy Griffin, rock star Scott Weiland to name a few. Third, getting to go to the Premiere After Party. Also, I'm a fan of Dane Cook. Not only do I think he's a wicked funny comic, but the guy is from Boston and unlike the Big Dig he's doing good. I have to support that. Last but not least, I'm a movie fan. I go to an event like this and I'm a kid in a Toy "R" Us with a fully loaded Gift Card. I've been lucky enough to go to a few premieres and they never get old for me.

Dane Cook and I at the premiere of Employee of the MonthSo on to the picture. Yup! That's me hanging with Dane Cook!! He was very gracious in allowing me time to chat with him and have this picture snapped. For those who are fans of his, he is as cool as you would think would be and just damn nice. I am a fan for life! As we like to say in Boston he's Wicked Pissahhhh!

And yes for those who might be wondering... Jessica Simpson is gorgeous!

Blahhh blahhhh blahhh you met Dane, you saw cool people BUT HOW WAS THE MOVIE?!???? Wicked funny! To be honest it was my third time seeing it so I better have liked it. I think people going to see EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH opening OCTOBER 6 are going think it's funny too! All indicators are pointing to the movie being a success.

Well that's it for now. Thanks for reading. Keep checking back for more stories and news.

Demetri

September 12, 2006

Hey Folks!

Check this out! It is the You Tube EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH link. Here you'll see Dane Cook not only talking about EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH but showcasing clips from the movie as well as funny work related videos. Overweight guy on the copy machine is my favorite so far.

If you have a funny work related video send it along. Perhaps it'll be showcased.

Enough reading. Start watching! Click away:

Hey Folks,

I got to do something pretty cool not too long ago. I went to the Cast and Crew Screening of CRANK. I actually met CRANK star Jason Statham. He was really cool. Hey, he took time to talk to me so he gets points for that. I also chatted with Jose Pablo Cantillo. He plays the movies bad guy, Verona. In real life he's nothing but a good guy. He is starring in a new fall show called Standoff. That's the one with Ron Livingston. It's not a Lionsgate show but he was a nice guy so I'll give the show a mention here.

On to Lionsgate's next wide release which is EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH starring Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson, Dax Shephard and Efren Ramirez (PEDRO!) The movie opens on October 6. Just about 3 weeks away. There are still some promo materials available such as bottle openers and coasters. So give me a call or drop me an e-mail. Don't forget to give me your Technicolor Account Number so I can ship out your stuff.

For the Art Houses we have the September 15 release of THE U.S. vs. JOHN LENNON. This documentary is for the music lover, the history buff and of course fans of The Beatles. It shows how in 1971 the United States Government tried to have John Lennon deported because they feared his belief in giving peace a chance could possibly dishevel the political landscape of the time.

In case you needed reminding, Halloween is just around the corner and you know what that means... SAW 3! Opening wide on October 27!

Keep clicking back here at LGEXR.com for the latest news on Lionsgate movies, trailers and marketing materials.

Thanks for reading!

August 25, 2006

Hey Folks,

The SAW 3 Scene saga continues...

As previously posted the first scene of SAW 3 was going to be attached to CRANK and shown as a trailer.

Due to the intense and grisly nature of the scene, Exhibition will not play the preview. I've seen the scene in question and I can't argue with Exhibitions decision. It is gory, gruesome and graphic. I LOVE IT!!! But with that said I understand completely how this may not be everyone's cup of tea/blood. Don't worry. Keep checking this site because I'm working on having the scene showcased here at LGEXR.com. More on that to follow!

In the meantime, here is what Lionsgate will have going up with CRANK. The latest EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH trailer will be attached and the SAW 3 teaser will be enclosed with all prints.

That's all for now!! Check back soon and check back often and please click LGEXR.com in your favorites.

Thanks for reading!

Audiences going to see CRANK the weekend of September 1st are going to get an early Halloween treat!

Lionsgate, always on the cutting edge, re-invents the Coming Attraction by showing the first scene of the highly anticipated SAW 3! This scene was shown to a crowd of thousands at this past year's Comic-Con and was met with thunderous applause, hoots and hollers for more!!

Now the Hard Core Adult Action/Horror Movie Fan will be treated to a similar version when they see the Jason Statham Action Movie CRANK. They will witness the gripping opening scene in which JIGSAW puts one his hapless victims through a test of character. Does he pull through?????

With the full support of the SAW film makers and even the MPAA, Lionsgate promises an unprecedented preview experience that will not only enhance visibility to the SAW franchise but add to the opening weekend of CRANK. Publicity of this special preview will reach not only the popular internet portals but print, radio and TV. This will help CRANK up that Labor Day weekend attendance at your theatre.

This Special Preview has a run time of 2:30 and while Red Band the MPAA approves the ATTACHMENT of Red Band trailers to RATED R features only. Of which CRANK is.

CRANK> will be the ONLY place this attraction will be showcased. Future SAW 3 mass placements will be with either the current teaser or a brand new trailer. Once CRANK has had its run so to will this preview.

CRANK opens Friday September 1st and stars Action Super Star Jason Statham. It is Rated R, Flat with a run time of 83 minutes.

SAW and SAW 2 have already amassed over 150 million dollars in US box office. SAW 3 promises many box office treats this October 27, Halloween weekend!

August 1, 2006

Hey Folks!

I have some cool news about the BRAND NEW SAW 3 TEASER.

First, the Teaser is ENCLOSED with all our prints of THE DESENT.

Did you know that the trailer is Market Specific?

What is Market Specific?

Let me tell you. Let's say you're watching THE DESCENT in Boston. The SAW 3 Teaser comes up (because you've attached it to the print. Thank you very much by the ways.) At the end of the teaser, the "Saw Doll" turns to the audience and says, "Hello Boston, would you like to play a game?" If you're in Chicago while watching THE DESCENT he says "Hello Chicago..." so on and so forth. We cut 20 different versions of 1 trailer! To my knowledge Lionsgate is the first to have done something like this. Now I did say the trailer is enclosed with ALL prints of THE DESCENT. So don't fret if you're not within the 20 markets. We've cut a special version where the puppet says, "Hello, America..."

And yes, Tobin Bell aka Jigsaw, did the voice over for each version!

Oh, I almost forgot. The only way to see the SAW 3 teaser is to see THE DESCENT. It will not be available anywhere else! We'll be advertising that fact and making sure your movie goers know if they want to see the SAW 3 teaser they have to go to a theatre near them and see THE DESCENT.

Keep checking here at LGEXR.com for the latest news on Lionsgate movies, trailers and marketing materials.

Thanks for reading!
